Embedded in his DNA, innovation guides his approach to marketing and customer development practices by leveraging cutting-edge predictable data analytics and methods increasing share and investment performance returns.
Bob was part of the original product and engineering team at MCI. In this role, he helped bring the first commercially available Internet services to the world, igniting the single greatest impact to the socioeconomic fabric of this generation. He also participated in the growth of security, optical, Metro Ethernet, VPN and VoIP services as early high-velocity market entrants.
Bob serves on the Texas Instruments Expert Advisory Panel for IoT and Microprocessors and is affiliated with the OpenStack project pioneering Software Defined Networking (SDN). He has served on the founding board of directors of the Metro Ethernet Forum and Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) working groups. As a licensed radio operator, Bob also participated in the (EYESAT-1) Microsat Project Working Group developing AMRAD-OSCAR AO-27 satellite for amateur use along with early radio-based Internet networks with Georgia Tech.
Outside of work, Bob serves as secretary and trustee of the Posner-Wallace Foundation funding developing economies and social technologies worldwide. Bob also enjoys running, tennis and the occasional adventure trip. Above all, he enjoys exploring, developing new skills and taking things apart.
